Despite all the optimisations Exophase did to run Temper on a portable device, the old 3DS is still too underpowered. Use your favorite CIA installer to install temperpce_3ds.cia into your CFW.

Go to your Homebrew Launcher (either via Cubic Ninja, Soundhax or other entry points) and launch the temperpce_3ds emulator.

Copy temperpce_3ds.3dsx, temperpce_3ds.smdh and temperpce_3ds_top.png into the /3ds/temperpce_3ds folder on your SD card.

It should run better on the New 3DS as usual (but I haven't really tried running it on the New 3DS yet). This emulator bears the same user interface as VirtuaNES for 3DS and Snes9x for 3DS. Since we are using the hardware, some games that utilise special palette effects may not work so well. this port heavily relies on the 3DS's 3D GPU hardware to achieve 60 FPS (or close to 60 with frame skips).

If someone wanted to implement this support (and make binaries) I'd be happy to help if I can (hence making my example code on how to do this available). sim is useful (small number of files, no other equivalent emulator available). Everyone is different, I can see case where. So I'm not keen on doing this, I'm not totally against it though. app is useful under Native (if you use DinGear, you can't use SMS Plus and vice versa), as we don't have a gmenu style browser/launcher. SIM was to be released, you would not be able to use DooEngine, the post I linked to above makes a good point for why. I've written a python script to organize roms by alphabetical directories to make this less unpleasant

scrolling in the Native 'emulator'/'interesting-game' browser is awful, really awful.
